Our first Games recipient had an amazing time!

The Canadian Transplant Games Grant is now closed for 2026 — and our very first recipient represented her province this summer, showing Canada what’s possible after transplant.

Thanks to your amazing support, the 2026 Andrew Puetz Family Grant was able to help support 13 transplant recipients and their families this year — that’s 21 recipients and families over the last two years. Grant applications are now closed for 2026.

Applications reopen in spring 2027 — every step at the Walk-N-Talk helps this grant grow.

A movement born in the water

Move for Life started with founder Jill Best’s record-setting swims after her own liver transplant — and grew into a national movement for organ donation.

Jill swam 52 km across Lake Ontario in our first fundraising event — launching the campaign that brought Canada’s first a-NRP machine to London.

We are excited to announce that due to all the amazing support received in 2025, the 2026 Andrew Puetz Family Grant will be able to support even more families this year.

Grant Applications will be accepted between May 10, 2026 and June 10 2026.

We’re incredibly excited to cheer Nicole on as she represents her province and shows Canada what it possible after transplant. Watch for updates, photos, and way to support our transplant athletes on our social media!

2026 Walk n’ Talk

October 3rd & 4th, 2026

Join us in London, Vaughan, Saskatoon, Humboldt & virtually across Canada for our 4th annual Walk n’ Talk!

Together we’re aiming for a $100,000 goal to continue supporting the A-NRP program, send more kids to Camp Fire Circle, support transplant athletes, and help Saskatchewan families through the Andrew Puetz Family Grant.

lake muskoka 30kms swim

Jill Best did it again!

On July27th, 2024, Jill Best successfully swam 30kms across Lake Muskoka in support of Camp Kivita to give children with organ transplants the opportunity to experience summer camp and build a community. Find details here about the swim, and ways to support.
